Pilgrims Society is a group of musicians who – whether by default or by choice – have found themselves in Scotland.
We are inspired by all kinds of things… trees, clouds, people, cats, orange flavoured lozenges… but our musical inspirations can mostly be traced back to the artists that brought 60s and 70s black America to the dancefloor – namely Funk, Soul and Afro Beat, with a generous taste of Latin groove.
From different walks of life, different cultural backgrounds, different levels of musical education, even different continents we have connected through a love for creating authentic music.
